Change is a process.

Below are the steps I typically follow in order to provide clients with comprehensive, quality and effective care. Your time, your energy and your resources are valuable. Ensuring that our work together is structured and effective in meeting your needs is central to my practice.

Stages of Treatment

  • Goodness of Fit

A good therapeutic relationship is key to achieving positive clinical outcomes. As such, the intake process begins with a free 15-minute phone or video chat to determine goodness of fit. During this call we will briefly discuss your current stressors and goals for treatment as well as my professional expertise and how it may support you

  • Assessment

I believe in using evidence-based tools to guide and inform our work together. Should you decide to move forward with therapy with me, you will complete a selection of intake assessments tailored to you. The results will help us to identify areas of focus and related goals.

  • Treatment

Treatment will be provided via a telehealth platform on a weekly or bi-weekly basis based on your needs. I may assign homework for you to complete in between sessions should you have the time. Assignments can be a powerful way to independently implement strategies and explore concepts discussed during the clinical hour.

  • Re-Assessment and Termination

Assessments will be re-administered every 6 months to gage progress and hold us both accountable to your treatment goals. During re-assessment periods, we will also check in about whether the therapeutic relationship is still serving you, whether there are any areas of opportunity and whether you may be ready for termination.
